When and how do I pay?

Payment is due before items are released to a customer. The customer has to make a security deposit for renting the props. In addition to the security deposit customer has to give one day rental charges in advance.

When should I make the booking?

Early planning ensures props availability. The booking payment is your assurance that the items requested will be available on the day you request. In so much as we will turn other people away to accommodate your reservation, cancellations will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Please be sure of your plans before booking the items.

Will you deliver and pick up the props?

No. The customer has to arrange the pick up and return of props.

Will my rental props be set up and taken down?

Set up and take down services are available for an additional charge. These arrangements must be made in advance of delivery and pickup.

Can you deliver and pick up the props via porter?

Yes, we can book the porter transportation for you. The customer has to pay the porter transportation charges.

When will you refund the deposit amount?

Deposit amount is fully refundable without any interest subjected to any damage is found in any props, joy rentals shall have the right to deduct the charges for any damages or late return fee charges from the security deposit paid by the customer and shall refund the remaining amount to the customer. The deposit amount will be refunded after the props are returned on time without any damages.

What time of the day can the props be delivered/picked up?

Weekends timings between 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Weekdays timings between 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. subject to availability.

What are the documents required for booking the props?

A customer in need of rental services should have valid – ID proof (Aadhar or Passport) and Address proof (House or Office) Office id in case of working professional. Please note that Joy Rentals reserves the right to confirm or decline the booking of the newly applied customer at it’s sole discretion on a case to case basis.

What happens if the props are broken, missing or damaged?

We do charge for missing, broken and damaged items.
